The deadline to complete JRD training is June 15,2025
The primary purpose of the JRD Program is to ensure all Provincial Occupational Health and Safety regulations are met or exceeded and both employers and members have ready access to documentation to establish to regulators and owner/clients that necessary training has been provided.
All members working under the Inside Electrical Workers Agreement are required to complete all JRD training courses in order to be dispatched to work . For more information, see pg 62-64 Inside Electrical Workers Agreement.
Mandatory Training:
- Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) : Certificate Standard / Type 3 Group B
- Fall Protection : Certificate Standard / CSA Z259
- SiteReadyBC (or equivalent: CSTS-09) : Certificate Standard BCCSA
- WHIMIS
- Hearing Test
